Hey DMS 7th and 8th grade choir and band parents/guardians, this is Mr. Rogers sending out information regarding our combined DMS and BCHS concert on Monday, March 16, 2026 at 7:30 pm at the BW Lodge.

All choir students need to report to the gym by 6:15 pm. All band students need to report to the gym by 7:10 pm.

Students are expected to dress nicely for this concert (slacks and collared shirts for boys, dresses for girls).

Hey DMS wrestling parents/guardians, just a couple of quick updates as we head into the final days of the season. First, regular practice tomorrow, 3/12/26 until 5:30 pm. Second, there is NO PRACTICE on Friday, 3/13/26 as we will be setting up the BW Lodge for Saturday's home tournament. Third, if you are willing and able to help set up the BW Lodge, we will start setting up at 4:00 pm on Friday, 3/13/26. Finally, please have wrestlers to the BW Lodge by 8:45 am on Saturday, 3/14/26 to warm up as wrestling begins at 10:00 am.

The bus leave time for DMS 7th and 8th grade wrestling to Anaconda today, 3/10/26, has been adjusted to 1:00 pm. As a reminder, 6th grade wrestlers have regular practice after school.

Hey DMS wrestling parents/guardians, just a couple of reminders about the schedule for this unique week. No Practice today or tomorrow, 3/2 and 3/3, due to Parent/Teacher Conferences. No Practice on Wednesday, 3/4. Thursday, 3/5, 7th and 8th grade wrestlers depart to Butte Central at the MAC Center at 1:00 pm and 6th grade wrestlers have regular practice after school until 5:30 pm. Friday, 3/6, No Practice as there is no school. Saturday, 3/7, all 6th-8th grade wrestlers depart to The Butte Civic Center at 7:30 am.

Hello DMS parents/guardians, this is Mr. Rogers sending out some activity updates. First, DMS wrestling for 6th-8th grade starts today, 2/9/26, after school until 5:30 pm. There is a DMS wrestling parent meeting in the DMS gym on Tuesday, 2/10/26 @ 5:30 pm. Second, the DMS Math Counts Team Departs to MT Tech on 2/12/26 @ 7:30 am. Third, the county spelling bee is at the 4-H building at the Beaverhead County Fairgrounds at 1:00 pm on 2/10/26 if your child was selected as a school finalist. Fourth, today's, 2/9/26, girls basketball games in Anaconda will be played at Fred Moodry (7th A @ 4:00 pm, 8th A @ 5:00 pm). Tomorrow, 2/10/26, our 7th and 8th grade A and B teams play at Butte East Middle School (7th/8th B @ 4:00 pm), 7th/8th A @ 5:00 pm). Tomorrow, 2/10/26, will be the last day for ALL DMS 6th-8th grade girls basketball. Reach out to our office at 683-2368 for questions or clarifications.

Happy New Year DMS Parents/Guardians!

This is Mr. Rogers sending out information regarding our quarter #2 dance as I've received a couple of questions recently. The quarter #2 dance is scheduled for Friday, January 23rd from 6:00 pm-8:00 pm. As in previous dances, the cost to attend will be $5 and students must be academically and behaviorally eligible to attend. Student council is still working on our dance theme so more information regarding this will be coming soon.

6th grade girls basketball begins after school on Monday, January 12th. Practice will be over at 5:15 pm each night. 6th grade girls who signed up to play were given basketball information at school today to bring home tonight. Hey parents/guardians, here is a quick note regarding end of the season information for DMS 6th-8th grade boys' basketball. 7th and 8th grade A and B teams play at home on Monday, 12/8 at 4:30 and 5:30 (7th in DMS, 8th in Parkview-B teams play first). The last practice for both 7th and 8th grade A and B teams is on Tuesday, 12/9. 7th grade practice ends at 5:00 on 12/9 while 8th grade ends at 5:30 pm. 7th and 8th grade A teams play on Thursday, 12/11 at 4:30 and 5:30 in the Parkview Gym. The last practice for 6th grade basketball is next Thursday, 12/11 at 5:00 pm.

Hello DMS parents/guardians,

Starting December 10-December 19th, DMS art students will have their artwork on display at Tendoy Fine Art Gallery, 35 E. Bannack, in downtown Dillon. Our gallery exhibition night will be Wednesday, December 10th from 5-8 pm. 6th, 7th and 8th grade art students have volunteered to donate art pieces. Select pieces will be available for purchase, with all proceeds going to support operations at Tendoy, a non-profit that promotes artists from Southwest Montana. Hello DMS boys basketball parents/guardians, this is Mr. Rogers sending out a quick schedule update. I've been working all season to try to find one more A game for both 7th and 8th grade teams and was able to finally do so. Both teams will have another home game on Thursday, December 11th against Harrison. 7th will play at 4:30 pm and 8th will play at 5:30 pm. Both games will be played in the Parkview Gym. 6th, 7th, and 8th grade boys basketball practice will be over at 5:00 pm today, 11/24/25. There is also NO practice tomorrow, 11/25/25. Please call the office at 683-2368, option 2 if you need to make alternate plans for your child.

DMS B boys basketball games today against Deer Lodge at home today, 11/18/25. 7th grade plays at 4:30 pm, followed by 8th grade at 5:30 pm. Both games will be played in the DMS gym. A teams will have a regular practice today after school.

DMS boys basketball games on 11/13/25, will be played at Butte Central High School Gymnasium located at 9 S. Idaho Street in Butte. 7th grade A plays at 4:30 pm, followed by 8th grade A at 5:30 pm. 7th and 8th grade B teams have regularly scheduled practice after school on 11/13/25.

DMS boys basketball games on 11/17/25 will be played in two separate locations. 7th grade games will be played at MT City School located at 11 McClellan Creek Road, Clancy, MT 59634. 8th grade games will be played at East Valley Middle School located at 401 North Kalispell Avenue, East Helena, 59635. B teams play first at 4:00 pm in both locations, followed by A teams at 5:00 pm in both locations.

DMS boys basketball games are in the DMS gym today, 11/10/25. 7th B plays at 4:30 pm followed by the 8th B at 5:30 pm.

DMS 7th grade boys basketball plays at 4:00 pm and 5:00 pm (B Team plays first) at Lincoln School in Anaconda today, 10/30/25. Lincoln school is located at 506 Chestnut Street in Anaconda.

DMS 8th grade boys basketball plays at 4:00 pm and 5:00 pm (B Team plays first) at Fred Moodry School in Anaconda today, 10/30/25. Fred Moodry is located at 219 E. 3rd Street in Anaconda.

The first DMS school dance is tomorrow, 10/24, from 6:00 pm-8:00 pm in the DMS gym. Only students enrolled at DMS are permitted to attend the dance. The doors will not open until 6:00 pm sharp and will become locked at 6:15 pm and no other late arrivals will be permitted. Students who leave the dance early will also not be allowed to re-enter. The dance is a sports themed dance that costs $5.00 to attend. Student can also purchase $2.00 polaroid pictures with friends if they wish. Finally, students must be behaviorally and academically eligible to attend and if they are not, they will be notified confidentially tomorrow morning.
